You will work closely with our marketing team on digital marketing initiatives across various channels. Depending on current projects, team members and intern’s skills, your tasks could include:
1) Content Creation and Copywriting
- Plan and generate engaging content for the school’s social media accounts, blog posts, and newsletters
- Develop and curate content that aligns with and best addresses the school’s goals and audience interests
- Write compelling copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and web content.
- Write features or articles centred around language education and genuine stories of our students and teachers
- Ensure all written content is clear, concise, and on-brand
2) Graphic Design and Creative Media Production
- Create visually appealing graphics for various needs, including marketing collaterals for web and print, artwork for ads, social media, brochures, posters, and email newsletters
- Capture high-quality photos of school events, classes, and facilities, editing and enhancing them for use in marketing materials and social media
- Produce and edit videos for promotional purposes
- Produce animations or other multimedia content to enhance the range of brand assets
3) Social Media Management and Advertising Campaigns
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers, and grow the school’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Xiao Hong Shu, etc.)
- Contribute towards the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including paid advertisements on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
4) Competitor Analysis and Customer Journey Mapping
- Research competitor’s pricing and products, and conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities and optimise performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience
5) Any other projects taken on by the Marketing Team, and support other branches of the administrative or academic departments on an ad-hoc basis
We’re looking for someone with:
- Good copywriting skills and a flair for storytelling
- A good eye for design and visual communication
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and social media trends
- Proficiency in a variety of design and media tools is advantageous (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photography, etc.)
- Independence, resourcefulness, and an interest in learning new creative skills
- The ability to collaborate on different projects and teams
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
